Christmas Candy Cane Fudge

I thought I'd make and share this super easy recipe.  This Christmas Candy Cane Fudge is quick and fun to make.  They are not only delicious to eat but make a great edible gift for family and friends at Christmas.

If you are short for time but would love to give family and friends something home-made, you should give this recipe a try.  The best bit about this recipe is that it is a No-Bake recipe.

You can make it with or without the candy canes.  You can also just add sprinkles on top of the fudge or some shaved chocolate bits.

Christmas Candy Cane Fudge

Ingredients

· 395 grams can of sweetened condensed milk
· ¼ cup desiccated coconut
· 525 grams milk/dark chocolate
· ½ cup crushed candy canes

Decorations

· 1 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

1. Line a 20 x 20 cm square baking tin with foil.

2. Combine condensed milk, desiccated coconut and crushed candy canes in a bowl, set aside.

3. Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (make sure the bowl does not touch the water). Stir until completely melted. Add the condensed milk mixture and mix until all combined. Remove from heat immediately.

4. Pour mixture into the lined baking tin and place the crushed candy canes over it. Lightly pressing into the fudge.

5. Refrigerate to cool and set.  Cut into small squares to serve.

Tips

· You can also use a glass baking dish but remember to spray it with cooking oil.

· You can also make this fudge without the crushed candy canes.
